Refunds, warranty and delivery
This is a working draft, not legal advice. It was written to cover how this service actually operates, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Every highlighted field must be completed, and the whole document reviewed against the law of your jurisdiction, before you take payments. Payment processors and advertising platforms both check these pages before approving an account.
The six month warranty
Backlinks, curated blog placements, blog content, local SEO and the AEO and GEO audit each carry a six month warranty from the date we deliver. It works like this:
- Links and placements. If a link is removed, turned no-follow, or the post is taken down within six months, we replace it on an equivalent or better domain at no cost.
- Blog content. If an article does not meet the brief as written, we rewrite it once at no cost within six months.
- Local SEO. If your profile is suspended or your local ranking falls as a result of changes we made, we re-optimise at no cost within six months.
- AEO and GEO audit. If the fixes we specified are implemented in full and your citation rate has not moved, we re-run the audit at no cost within six months.
Six months is chosen deliberately: it covers the window in which a placement is most likely to be pulled, which is the first two or three. The warranty does not cover a link removed because you asked for it, content changed after delivery by someone else, ranking movement caused by a platform algorithm change, or a penalty resulting from links we did not place.
Refunds before work starts
If you change your mind before we have started, tell us and we refund in full. For paid orders that means within [number] days of payment and before the first deliverable is in progress.
Refunds once work is underway
Once work has started we refund the portion not yet delivered, less any commitments already made on your behalf that we cannot recover. Those commitments are real costs, not a penalty, and include publisher fees, creator contracts, research panel incentives and licensed assets. We will show you the breakdown.
Entry tiers at 00 are small, fixed pieces of work that are usually completed within two to three business days. Once the deliverable is sent, they are not refundable, because the entire thing you bought has been handed over.
If the work is not right
Tell us. Our first answer is to fix it, and every service includes the revision rounds stated in its description. If we cannot bring it to the standard described in the tier you bought, we refund that portion. We would rather refund you than argue about a deliverable neither of us is happy with.
We will not refund because an outcome we never promised did not happen. We do not guarantee rankings, revenue, conversion rates or share of AI answers, and we say so plainly in our terms before you buy rather than afterwards.
Delivery
Everything is delivered digitally, through the platform or by email. Nothing physical is shipped, except where a service explicitly involves sending product to creators, which is agreed with you in advance.
Turnaround times on the site are working estimates that begin when we have everything we need from you. Entry tiers are two to three business days. Testing cycles are five business days as standard. Editorial placements typically land across two to four weeks, because a publisher decides when to publish, not us.
Chargebacks
If something is wrong, contact us at support@beta-backlink.com before raising a chargeback. A chargeback filed without contacting us first is resolved by the card scheme rather than by us, which is slower for you and gives neither of us a chance to fix the actual problem.
Quote requests
A quote request never charges your card. There is nothing to refund unless and until you accept a quote in writing and pay against it.
